Accommodations and Amenities
GBR is more than a sober living environment, housing up to 13 clients in luxurious accommodations with access to high-end amenities. The facility offers spacious, homey apartment-style living not far from the pristine beaches of the Gulf Coast and clients can choose between private or shared rooms, each equipped with a satellite TV and WiFi as well as private bathrooms with spa-style showers. Common areas have satellite TV, an office with a computer and a fully stocked kitchen. Housekeeping is provided and all meals are prepared by an in-house chef who accommodates special dietary needs. The residence is also pet-friendly and children under two are welcome.
Rules and Regulations
Luxury is not all GBR has to offer. Structure helps clients develop a balance between comfort, continuing their recovery and developing the skills to maintain sobriety after they leave the residence. There is also an on-site management team that provides 24/7 assistance.
Daily 12-step meetings and meditation sessions are held on-site and transportation is provided for those looking for off-site treatment support. GBR also provides a variety of treatment services through their network of therapists, outpatient treatment centers, sober coaches, life coaches and other services.
Although clients are encouraged to start making their own choices and take charge of their own schedules, GBR also offers scheduling assistance.
Extras
In addition to amenities and sobriety support, GBR offers a variety of extra perks for their clients as they continue through recovery. Clients are offered gym memberships as well as yoga classes, massages, Pilates and other forms of exercise and relaxation classes to support the mind-body connection.
