Accommodations and Food

The six-person home features stunning panoramic views of the Delaware Water Gap National Forest, fostering a meditative environment. The spacious bedrooms are shared between two clients and feature twin-sized beds, wooden dressers and a rocking chair. The downstairs area has a state-of-the-art kitchen with steel appliances, a dining room, a common area with a television and two fireplaces for chilly nights. For those looking for some fun, a game room with ping pong and bumper pool can be used during free time.
On sunny days, residents can sit out on the porch, taking time to journal or catch up on their reading. The outdoor area of the home also offers spots to smoke, though this must be done during break time. Each morning, the clients can work out in the house gym where a variety of treadmills, bikes and weight machines are available. Outings on the weekends are an opportunity to get in more physical fitness. Trips include hiking, golf, rafting, swimming, canoeing and fishing.
A professional chef prepares three meals a day; suggestions and special dietary needs are taken into consideration. Residents are required to participate in the clean up process.
Treatment and Staff
Treatment time varies with the individual, ranging from 30 to 90 days. While detox is not offered on-site, the facility can make arrangements with the local hospital.
A typical day in treatment involves several hours of group therapy, where evidence-based modalities such as CBT and DBT are used. Clients also receive a few hours of one-on-one time with their primary therapist per week; family sessions can also be arranged. While the program offers 12-step based recovery, it does not force clients to participate. Both on- and off-site AA meetings occur on a weekly basis, giving clients the opportunity to experience this recovery lifestyle.
Once the residential program has been completed, clients can transition into Intensive Outpatient (IOP), which offers a similar structure five days a week, while allowing clients to return home in the evenings.
With a staff comprised of medical doctors, psychiatrists, Master’s-level therapists, counselors and nurses, clients are in good hands during their stay.

These services include hypnotherapy ($120-165 per 60-90 minute session), guided meditation ($40-75 per 30-60 minute session) and healing touch therapy ($70-90 per 60-90 minute session).
